AMA Queensland and the Australian Salaried Medical Officers’ Federation Queensland (ASMOFQ) are profoundly saddened by the tragic passing of Dr Kate Sinclair.
Dr Sinclair, a paediatric neurologist, was a good friend to Queensland, AMA President Dr Chris Perry said.
“Kate was a formidable intellect and a very good friend,” AMA Queensland President Professor Chris Perry said today.
“She was eminently sensible and will be missed.”
ASMOFQ President Dr Hau Tan said Dr Sinclair was a valued member of the ASMOFQ State Management Committee, on which she served for several years and shared her bright energy and joy.
“She was a dedicated clinician who cared deeply for her patients, and a supportive and respected colleague to many,” Dr Tan said.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to her husband, past AMA Queensland President Dr Chris Davis and her surviving family.
