Following a great number of meetings of doctors in public hospitals, member feedback and hard work by our committees, the attached log of claims was finalised.
The log is a significant move by AMA Queensland/ASMOFQ to address some of the real challenges of our work in public hospitals. We need conditions that support good medical care, respect for our vocation and a safe work environment.
We are negotiating for a MOCA 5 agreement that provides:
- a 5% salary increase per year for the three years of the agreement;
- increased professional development leave and allowances;
- indexing allowances which haven't previously been indexed; and
- travel provisions to support doctors working in regional public hospitals.
